My objective in each project has been to intensely research and understand indigenous craft practices,

and to look for ways to develop and market local products, either for the local market or for international export.

So often we buy products out of charity but in my projects it is because of their design integrity and quality. Importantly the project gives potters their dignity, they feel appreciated and take pride in their work.
